CELEBRATE JUSTICE

an annual fundraising dinner IN NOVEMBER
to help end human trafficking in hampton roads
Picture
On Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, we gathered to celebrate the progress of the past year and share what God is doing
through Virginia Beach Justice Initiative to help end sex trafficking in our region.
Our Featured Speaker last November: Barbara Amaya
Picture
Barbara Amaya was 12 years old when she ran away from an abusive home in Northern Virginia. She ended up on the streets of Washington D.C. where she was picked up by sex traffickers and forced into prostitution in New York for a decade.

But that’s not the end of her story.

Barbara is a survivor leader in the movement to end human trafficking. She is an advocate, speaker, trainer and best selling author and has dedicated her life and work to combating human trafficking and violence against women. She has a background in education, including early childhood development, and holds a PhD in psychology.

To learn more about Barbara, please visit her website, www.barbaraamaya.com.
